Desde una base puramente electrónica, las sensaciones evolucionan desde la quietud de las atmósferas y pasajes ambientales, adornados por pads y arreglos efectistas, al dinamismo y sucesión de secuencias rítmicas y elementos estructurales que van añadiendo peso a la composición.

Compuesto en el 2012 y sometido a varias revisiones, la mezcla final resume en 55 minutos de duración planteamientos y técnicas sin precedentes en trabajos anteriores.

1.- Cosmogenia – The Faces of Universe [55:00]

    as_xc3AS_XC3 is a win32 VST plugin (made with SynthEdit/SE_SDK2) which generates MIDI Clock Sync.

    • Uses the VstTimeInfo TransportPlaying to start/stop.
    • MIDI_CLOCK messages are generated at all times (even when not playing).
    • Tempo is adjustable (zero means auto-BPM).
    • Adjustable shuffle (bipolar).
    • Shuffle divisions (16/8/4).
    • 12/24/48/96 clock ticks per quarter note.
      Note: your DAW must support MIDI output from VST plugins, and not filter-out the MIDI Sync messages.
      It’s possible to use this plugin as a master clock for external devices ;]
      XC3 has no audio inputs or outputs.

    neuronvsIn 2000, Axel Hartmann and I, Stephan Bernsee, set out to designing a novel synthesizer based on artificial neural networks used for sound synthesis, the <NEURON> synthesizer. We were able to get support from a lot of people, including well known artists such as Hans Zimmer, and Hartmann Music as a company won several awards for innovation in synthesis technology.

    Unfortunately and despite the huge interest in our products, due to some issues with distribution and our hardware manufacturer Hartmann was driven out of business in 2004. With the company dead there was no chance for <NEURON> owners to get tech support or updates.

    Just recently, a Facebook group came into existence that managed to attract many knowledgeable and skilled Neuron owners who provide support and advice to each other in their spare time. To aid them in the process of keeping the Neuron alive I have dusted off the old NeuronVS sources in order to revive the NeuronVS VST plug-in, a software-only version of the Neuron synth that came with a powerful hardware controller, the <NUKE>. Thanks to the generosity of former Hartmann CEO Stefan Rapp and Neuron designer Axel Hartmann I am now able to provide an updated version of the original <NeuronVS> software here free of charge, (hopefully) free of bugs – and with no warranties of any kind.

    Minimum System Requirements:

    VST 2.3 compatible host, MacOS X Intel 10.6.8+. Please check out the manual for more information. <NUKE> controller recommended.

    HourGlassFor people new to HourGlass, a short description is that it’s a granular sample processing stand-alone application for Windows/OS-X. A plugin version is very unlikely to ever happen, as HourGlass is already a fairly complicated application and just doesn’t seem to fit into the plugin paradigm too well in my opinion.

    HourGlass ia a granular/textural synthesis/sampling sound processor used to optimize your audio files. This application can also be used as a sampling tool, and allows users to rely on audio fragments to generate textures.

    What´s new in version 1.4.5:

    • Preliminary feature to allow envelopes to play at different rates, as a multiplier of the texture length. (ie, if the texture length is 8 seconds, setting an envelope rate of 8 will make that envelope play 8 times during the whole texture.) The dial allows changing the speed to some common multiples of the texture length, the text box can be used to enter a free rate multiplier between 0.001 and 1024. This feature currently conflicts with the looped texture playback. The workaround is to disable the looped playback. (The sounding result will however effectively still be looped for most envelopes.) Also, when offline rendering, longer progressions of multiple playback rates might not evolve as far as desired, as the offline rendering ends at the texture length plus the tail length. The workaround is to use the live output recording feature. I will try to come up with some solutions to these in the future.
    • Maximum voice count increased from 256 to 512. It will depend on the computer capabilities, the used resampler mode and use of multithreaded voice processing if all the voices can actually play.
    • While making the above change, I noticed a performance problem with high voice counts, which hopefully is now fixed.
    • Sound volume to envelope converter window length now has name and value labels in the GUI
    • The offline chain processing progress indicator would sometimes get stuck over the waveform view, hopefully now fixed

    paulstreetchExtreme Sound Stretch is a program for stretching the audio. It is suitable only for extreme sound stretching of the audio (like 50x) and for applying special effects by “spectral smoothing” the sounds. It can transform any sound/music to a texture. The program is Open-Source and it’s released under the version 2 of the General Public License. You can download the source code for Linux or the Windows binaries.

    Please note that this is suitable only for extreme time stretching (e.g. if have a melody of 3 minutes and you want to listen it in 3 hours). If you want “less extreme” time stretching, you can use a program which contains the SoundTouch library.


    • It produces high quality extreme sound stretching. While most sound stretching software sounds bad when trying to stretch the sounds a lot, this one is optimized for extreme sound stretching. So, the stretch amount is unlimited.
    • You can play the stretched sound in real-time (including the possibility to “freeze” the sound) or you can render the whole sound or a part of it to audio files
    • It has many post-processing effects, like: filters, pitch/frequency shifters
    • Support for WAV, OGG VORBIS files and MP3 files
    • It is a Free Software

    syrah-v3When we started sketching our new plug-in project, our aim was to create a versatile and truly musical dynamics processor, which handles the dynamics in a way that allows you to be creative, without a complicated user interface.

    The result is Syrah, a new generation dynamics processor utilizing real time dynamic detection and level dependent processing, providing adaptive dynamic capabilities, which mean that Syrah is always trying to adapt to the music and to the beat of the material.

    Using parts of our exquisite ‘BitterSweet’ technology, our new adaptive-dynamics technology, and our well-recognized level independent dynamics processing, Syrah will be well suited as a creative versatile processor for recording and mixing, as well as for delicate and demanding mastering tasks.

    User Interface and Workflow

    As you may notice, the controls are not the usual suspects found on a dynamics processor, instead, the controls provided typically affect more than one parameter in the underlying algorithms, with everything carefully tweaked allowing for creative processing still ensuring the finest sound achievable.

    The built in preset manager and the preset morphing slider, provides instant and intuitive control of all parameters and controls. In a second, with a simple one-click operation, everything is copied from one of the two preset slots to the other. even during playback. Except for only A/B comparing two set of parameters, the morphing slider will allow for mixing them, and if desired, record the morph with the host automation.

    With the built in preset manager, you can save a complete snapshot (called a Global Preset) with all the settings from both of the preset slots, as well as the position of the preset morphing slider, allowing for instant recall of your morphing set.

    ipcmidiIPC ( Inter Process Communication ) MIDI is a set of two vst’s ( a transmitter and a receiver ) for sending/receiving midi data between different VST hosts, even if they have different architectures (x86 or x64).

    ruedamusicalPreguntas Teoría Musical es un juego de preguntas para poner a prueba tus conocimientos sobre teoría musical. Contiene cinco niveles de juego: para niños, básico, avanzado, intervalos musicales y dictados musicales.

    El nivel para niños cuenta con 300 preguntas y está pensado para que los más pequeños se familiaricen con los conceptos musicales a través de imágenes. El juego consiste en intentar resolver 5 preguntas en cada partida jugada. Podrás enviar los resultados de tus partidas a tus amigos mediante correo electrónico o WhatsApp.

    El nivel básico que ya cuenta con más de 1150 preguntas está enfocado para niños, principiantes e iniciados en la música (aunque también contiene preguntas para todos los niveles). En el nivel básico-60 segundos dispones de un minuto para resolver las cuestiones formuladas. El juego consiste en intentar resolver 10 preguntas en cada partida jugada. Los aciertos y porcentajes se van contabilizando por partida. También se guarda la marca actual de aciertos consecutivos y la mejor marca de aciertos consecutivos sin error en el total de partidas. Podrás enviar los resultados de tus partidas a tus contactos mediante correo electrónico o WhatsApp.

    El nivel avanzado, que todavía está en construcción, contendrá cuestiones de mayor dificultad.

    El nivel de intervalos musicales, contiene 210 preguntas con sus respectivos sonidos para que el usuario pueda practicar reconocimientos de intervalos. Puedes escuchar el sonido más de una vez antes de resolver.

    El nivel básico de dictados musicales consta de más de 300 sonidos compuestos por 4 notas naturales cada uno. Al igual que con los intervales puedes escuchar los sonidos más de una vez antes de resolver. Si te equivocas a la hora de hacer clic sobre los botones de las notas puedes borrar con el botón habilitado. El nivel medio de dictados, que todavía está en contrucción, contendrá notas musicales naturales y alteradas.

    Si encuentras algún error en las cuestiones formuladas o deseas añadir nuevas preguntas al juego puedes enviar un correo a cembuenap@gmail.com. El enunciado de las preguntas no debe ser demasiado extenso y las cuatro respuestas posibles deben ser cortas (de una a tres palabras).

    Como las cuestiones de este juego se encuentran instaladas sobre la aplicación no necesitas conexión a internet para poder jugar.
